What this policy covers
This policy covers visits to arcvault.ai and email you send us. Customer data processed by the ArcVault service will be covered by our contracts and data processing agreement, which the Compliance page describes.
What we record when you visit
The site sets no cookies. We run Umami, an analytics tool, on our own server. For each visit it records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and your approximate location. Umami combines your IP address and browser details into an anonymous session identifier.
For about 15 percent of visits, Umami also records a session replay and a heatmap: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you move between, for up to five minutes. Text typed into form fields is masked, and the site has no forms.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, Umami records nothing about your visit.
Our web server logs each request: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser.
If you email contact@arcvault.ai, we keep your message, your email address and anything you include, such as your name and organization, so we can reply. We run our own mail server.
Where the data is kept
The website, the analytics and our email run on a server we operate in a US datacenter. We do not sell visitor data or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep analytics data, session replays and email until we delete them. Web server logs are deleted automatically, oldest first, when the server’s log storage fills. There is no fixed time limit; today the logs go back about three and a half months.
Your choices
Turn on Do Not Track in your browser and Umami will record nothing about your visits. To find out what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, email contact@arcvault.ai.
Changes
When this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
